Mr Green Africa’s goal is to be the leading recycling company in Africa with strong social impact. MGA has set up a vertically integrated supply chain, sourcing waste directly from waste pickers (and increasingly direct from consumers), via its growing network of collection points, and sorting/processing at its plant in Nairobi. Alongside the environmental impact of reducing plastic waste, it has a strong focus on social impact through providing rewarding jobs and a fair income to the independent waste collectors who are currently the primary source of plastic waste.
